He is a Gestalt therapist, psychiatrist and international trainer. He is also the program coordinator of the two year International Training Program on Gestalt Approach to Psychopathology and Contemporary Disturbances organized by the Istituto di Gestalt H.C.C. Italy. He is the President of the EAGT, former Chair of the EAGT Training Standards Committee, former President of the Italian NOGT (SIPG, Italian Gestalt Psychotherapy Association), President of the Italian NAO (FIAP, Italian Federation of Psychotherapy Associations), and an associate member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. He has authored articles, chapters, and books in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy. He lives and works in Turin as a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and supervisor.



Jack van Liesdonk – Treasurer ( )


He is living and working in the east of the Netherlands as an EAGT certified gestalt therapist in a private practice for gestalt therapy, couple-therapy, family-therapy and as consultant. Educated first as mechanical engineer he started working and studying in youth care and is graduated as pedagogue and social work. Received his training in gestalt at Nederlandse Stichting Gestalt and graduated at Middlesex University in 2004. He is a registered psychotherapist (ECP) in the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). He worked as trainer and consultant in youth support organizations up to 1996. Then he became director of an organization for community development and welfare until 2012. He contributed in several boards of foundations and associations (Amnesty, Fair trade, Scouting, theatre), was board member of gestalt trainings institute NSG and president of Netherlands and Flemish Belgium NOGT the NVAGT. Leader of gestalt workshops in the Netherlands, Madrid and Marrakech (WCP).
He is married and feels strongly connected with his son and daughter who live with their friends. Is interested in developments in mental health care and their organizations. Loves (and plays) theatre and enjoys to cook a big dinner.




Jelena Želeskov Djoric – External relations / NOGTs officer & Vice-president

She was born 1979 in Belgrade and has two children. She graduated in Psychology at the University of Nis in 2003, as the best student of the University for the year 2003. Jelena received her training in Gestalt therapy from the Gestalt Studio Belgrade (GSB), which she started in 2003 and finished in 2008. Also, in 2003 she started her Master studies in Psychotherapy at the University of Novi Sad and finished it in 2006. She finished her PhD research in clinical psychology in 2010 at the Department of Psychology, University of Belgrade. From 2006-2007 she was involved in psychotherapy groups at the Institute for Mental Health in Belgrade, where she was working with neurotic, affective disorders and psychotic patients. Besides that, she has been a researcher of Peak Learning California since 2005 until now. From 2007 to 2010 she had been working at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. In October 2008 she started to work as an Assistant Lecturer for experiential groups, personality psychology, psychotherapy and counselling, clinical psychology and psycho-diagnostic at the Department of Psychology and Psychotherapy, University Singidunum in cooperation with University Sigmund Freud Vienna. In December 2010 she has been elected for Assistant Professor at University Singidunum, Belgrade. Currently she works as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research in Belgrade and as a psychotherapist in her private practice with individuals, couples and groups. From 2010 she is a gestalt trainer in Gestalt Studio Belgrade Training Institute. She is a member of American Psychology Association (APA), Serbian Association for Psychotherapy (SUAP) and European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). She has authored articles and books in fields of psychology and psychotherapy. She lives and works in Belgrade.



Michele Cannavò – Secretary ( )


He was born 1976 in Sicily. He is graduated in Medical Doctor at the University of Catania in 2002 and in Psychiatry e Psychotherapy in 2006. He finished his PhD in Neurovegetative Medicine in 2010. He is working as psychotherapist and psychiatrist in a therapeutic community for psychotic and borderline patients and he has been working as a psychotherapist in his private studio since 2006 with individuals, couple and group. Michele received his training in Gestalt therapy from Gestalt HCC Italy Institute. He is trainer in Gestalt Therapy. He completed his training in Psychosomatic Body Development in New York with Ruella Frank. He is a president of SIPG (Italian NOGT) and he is member of SIP (Psychiatry Italian Society). He has authored articles and chapters in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy fields. He loves photography and he made a lot of exhibitions where he joined Gestalt Psychotherapy with his pictures. He lives in Catania and he works in Catania, Caltanissetta and Caltagirone as psychiatrist and psychotherapist..



Frans Meulmeester – Chair of Gestalt Practitioner in Organizations

Since 1973 Frans is working as a teacher, trainer and consultant. First in education, but later he specialized in Healthcare. He completed the training for Gestalt therapist and Psychosynthesis guide and in 1989 heI started a centre for training, consultancy and therapy, called Invitation and from this time he is working as trainer / consultant / coach and psychotherapist.
He is a staff member of the Gestalt institute MultidiMens (Belgium), the Gestalt Institute of Bulgaria and the Himalayan Pathway Psychotherapy Institute in Nepal and guest trainer of several other Gestalt institutes in Europe.
He is registered Gestalt therapist and Gestalt Practitioner in Organizations (GPO) in EAGT and a registered psychotherapist (ECP) in the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).


Nurith Levi – Chair of Training Standards Committee

Nurith is a certified and accredited social worker, Gestalt therapist, psychotherapist, family therapist and marriage counselor and a qualified supervisor in these modalities. She is the chairperson of the Israeli NOGT and the academic director and trainer of a new Gestalt training program at the Bar-Ilan University. For over 25 years she was senior lecturer at the school of social work at the Tel Aviv and the Be'er-Sheva university, and head of the department for Youth Care Work at Beit-Berl collage, where she also served as Dean of Students for 8 years.

Nurith is an experienced Gestalt trainer who works regularly in Israel and Europe. She has been a member of TSC for the last 5 years, and is also member of HR&SR committee. She has authored articles and chapters in the field of psychotherapy, treatment of children and youth at risk and family therapy that are all inspired and influenced by her thinking and living Gestalt.

She lives and works in in a suburb of Tel-Aviv, where she runs a private clinic.
She is married and the proud mother of four and grandmother of eight darlings.
